“Thank you again for your presentation to our students on Friday, May 10th. The students had a wonderful time learning about your journey to an author and publisher. They loved the read aloud and the "super secret" preview of your new book. The best part was watching the students' "wheels turn" as they came to the realization that their own ideas and stories could become published books one day. Thank you for sharing your story and inspiring my young minds.”

“Dana Bradford-Majors and her two sons came to Crooked Creek to share their journey. They spoke to students in fourth and fifth grade. The students were captivated by their stories and engaged throughout the presentation. They were amazed that two students who also go to MSDWT were already owners of a publishing company and authors of books. Our students asked insightful questions and wanted autographs from the whole family at the end of the presentation. Dana even took time to meet with one of our fifth graders who is an excellent writer to discuss her writing with her. ”

“Dana and her sons, Atreyu and Pheldon, did a phenomenal job during their author talk at Willow Lake. Students were captivated by their stories and the magic of what it means to be an author. It was inspirational to have students see such young published authors share their work, and even more so appreciated them incorporating some of their Spanish books being that we are a Dual Language Immersion school! I appreciate their professionalism, enthusiasm, and evident passion for literacy!”
